Paris Map
I fell in love with the very old Paris map at neighbored antique-bookstore. Putting it in a frame I found the city of art blossomed. Imagined cobbled path along the Seine, the sound of shoes on way home is coming from.. Axonometric bird’s eye view. The Eiffel Tower measures 7.5cm in height with a ruler. Thinking of the actual height 300m, it turns out this is a 1/4000 scale map. As for the Arc de Triomphe, my measurement shows 1.2cm in height, multiplied by 4000 equals 48m. Checking it out reveals the actual height is 50m. How perfect ! I …
